MPI: Yes, you tell no lies when you say they did a great thing and reacted accordingly. I'm extremely proud of the both of them. I can't help but to recall what the EMS driver told me when I arrived at the hospital, just minutes after it took place ...... "Don't thank us, thank your boys. If it was not for the immediate action taken by them your daughter might not be standing here before you now". That statement speaks volume's, & will have an everlasting effect on my life. He then went on to explain, that a child our daughters age can not be without oxygen for more then 3-minutes. The response time of EMS was 7 minutes 23 seconds, although fast, not fast enough to make a difference...... "It's Vic & Donovan her brothers who made the difference." I don't believe that they fully understand just how heroic their actions truly were on that night. Hat's off to the both of you, and may God continue to watch over this family. After the Heimlich Manuever is performed on a young child, it's standard procedure to have a doctor check her out to make sure her ribs are ok, and to rule out any other internal damage. I'm happy to report all is well with Olivia Leigh Iguina, and she is back to being her same rambunctious self. LOL:-)
